Make a Joyful Noise Unto God

Music is an integral part of the worship experience at Washington Street — and it’s one of the many ways we express our gratitude and love for our Lord. Our choir members serve as worship leaders throughout the year. Each week, they guide the congregation through prayer, mindful meditation, beautiful music and praise to our Lord. All members are invited and encouraged to join in our music ministry. Connect with others who find great joy in making music and have fun using your skills and talents in service to God.

Sanctuary Choir

Under the direction of Nicolas Todd Shumate, the Sanctuary Choir brings together a dedicated group of adults as well as college and high school students. Singers with a wide range of abilities join together to make beautiful music to enhance our weekly worship service.
