Make a joyful noise unto God.
Music is an integral part of the worship experience at Washington Street — and it’s one of the many ways we express our gratitude and love for our Lord. Our choir members serve as worship leaders throughout the year. Each week, they guide the congregation through prayer, mindful meditation, beautiful music and praise to our Lord. All members are invited and encouraged to join in our music ministry. Connect with others who find great joy in making music and have fun using your skills and talents in service to God.
The Sanctuary Choir brings together a dedicated group of adults as well as college and high school students. Singers with a wide range of abilities join together to make beautiful music to enhance our weekly worship service.

Under the leadership of Director Robert Evans, our Handbell Choir joins together ringers to expand their musical skills and share the beauty of Christ through instrumental offerings. The Handbell Choir meets in 3rd Floor Handbell Room on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 6:15 PM.
Children’s Music Ministry
Children are encouraged to participate in music at Washington Street. Under the direction of Jordan Harper and Angela Powers, children participate in Music Mania Camp each summer. Our youngest children participate in Music Time with Miss Jordan at Children’s Church during the weekly 11:00 service. Children and Youth Choirs are prepared for special services and events throughout the year.
