Dear friends and members of Washington Street United Methodist Church:
There is anticipation in the air as spring approaches and we prepare ourselves to celebrate in a few weeks the risen Christ. Thanks be to God!
Our Washington Street United Methodist Church 2022 Stewardship Campaign coincides with the Lenten Season and is supported by Reverend Becky Shirley’s sermon series “Stepping Stones in Our Journey with Christ: Six Steps to a Generous Life.” The six steps presented in the series are prayer, Bible reading and study, witness, financial giving, service, and worship.
Please reflect on the six steps and consider how you will continue your journey with Christ and live out your commitment to Him at Washington Street this year. Your pastors are always ready to assist you in discovering ways that you can participate in the life of the church. Use the checkboxes on the pledge form to show the ways you will step out in faith this year. Use the enclosed Skill & Interest Inventory form to let us know where your skills and interests lie.
When you have completed your forms, you may return them by dropping your completed forms in the offering plate, by dropping them by the main office, or by mailing them in the return envelope to Attn: Business Administrator, Washington Street UMC, 1401 Washington St., Columbia, SC 29212. If you prefer, you may complete your pledge online through Realm Connect. Please contact the main office if you need additional forms.
Stewardship is a vital part of our daily lives as followers of Christ. Thank you for your love for Christ and for your generosity and commitment to Washington Street United Methodist Church.
