Alston Lippert

Alston Flynn Lippert was licensed as a local pastor in the South Carolina Conference of the UMC in 2017.  She has a BS in Economics from the College of Charleston and a Ph. D. in Economics from the University of South Carolina and has taught economics at various colleges and universities including Villanova, Columbia College, and the University of South Carolina since 1990.  She earned a Master of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in 2021. She is divorced with two daughters, Alston Lee Lippert and Catherine Lippert. Washington Street is Reverend Lippert’s first appointment.
