The Active Faith Team at WSUMC is holding a clothing drive for gently used men’s and women’s clothing for the First Year Teacher’s Clothes Closet at Columbia College.

The First Year Teachers’ Closet is sponsored by the Palmetto State Teachers Association. They hold pop-up clothes distribution sites around the state for first-year teachers.

Many of our clothing drives in the past have gone directly to PSTA for these events. The Koala Boutique is a store of “gently used” clothing items for any student (of any gender) located in our Student Activities office on campus.  A current student may go by the boutique and browse for items they need.  Both are free to those who need items.

Active Faith’s clothing drive will benefit both.

Clothing may be dropped off at the church during regular business hours, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday; or on Sundays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Please take all clothing to the 1st-2nd-grade classroom on the 2nd floor of the educational building.
