Reverend Taylor Pafford
Associate Minister for Children & Family Ministries
Rev. Taylor Pafford was ordained as a Deacon in Full Connection in the United Methodist Church in 2016. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theater from Rhodes College (Memphis, TN) and a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University (Atlanta, GA). She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry in Theology and the Arts from Wesley Theological Seminary (Washington, DC). Taylor is married to John Pafford, who is a Software Developer with Digital Envoy. Taylor and John have one daughter, Millie, who is a lively addition to their family. They also have a puggle dog named Maisie, who is best friends with Millie. Taylor is passionate about bridging her passion for music and theater with her call to ministry with children, youth, and families and loves finding creative ways to share the love of God with others. She has a special interest in creative worship planning and previously served as the Worship Design Coordinator for the Lake Junaluska Summer Worship Series. Methodist History is another area of interest to Taylor and she has spent time in the United Kingdom immersed in studying our Wesleyan heritage . In her spare time, she loves cooking, traveling, playing board games, and watching Jeopardy!
