Our youth ministries help young people along their search for meaning.
Teenagers can be amazing and terrible, awful or inspirational, all at the same time. Young men and women going through adolescence are constantly trying new things in life while wrestling with exuberant energy and the need for balance.
At Washington Street, we seek to provide these young people with meaningful opportunities to encounter Christ. Leading students into the presence of God is not always an obvious or direct path. It could be a worshipful retreat, a road trip, or a lock-in. But it often begins with lunch before youth group.
No matter what brings them together, we’re focused on providing our group of developing women and men with a place where they will be safe, fun, and fearless. We seek to help them find trustworthy friends who will be their brothers and sisters in Christ. And we strive to build their relationships with our Lord and Savior.
Washington Street Youth Group meets every Sunday in the Youth Lounge on the third floor of the Education building from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. for lunch, devotion, and hang-out time.
